1414. SMS Program Terms
Gelza uses Telnyx and telecommunications providers to transmit SMS communications.
Participating salons may receive their own Telnyx telephone numbers.
Depending on the salon's configuration and customer consent, SMS may include:
- Booking confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Rescheduling notices
- Cancellation notices
- Booking-management links
- AI-assisted booking conversations
- Re-engagement messages
- Birthday messages
- Promotional offers
- Other disclosed salon communications
SMS consent
Where consent is required, SMS consent must be obtained separately from acceptance of these Terms.
A voluntary digital SMS consent box should:
- Be optional
- Be unchecked by default
- Identify the salon or messaging brand
- Describe the categories of messages the customer agrees to receive
Providing a phone number does not by itself authorize unrelated promotional SMS.
Marketing, promotional, birthday, and re-engagement messages may be sent only where required consent has been obtained.
Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing salon services or Gelza services.
The salon is responsible for obtaining and documenting consent required for messages it instructs Gelza to send.
Gelza may require a salon to provide evidence of consent.
Message frequency and carrier charges
Message frequency may vary.
Message and data rates may apply.
Wireless carriers may impose charges.
Gelza is not responsible for carrier charges.
Delivery of SMS messages is not guaranteed.
STOP and HELP
Recipients may reply STOP to applicable messages to opt out.
After an opt-out has been processed, Gelza and the salon will stop messages covered by that opt-out except for an opt-out confirmation or messages otherwise permitted by law.
Recipients may reply HELP for assistance or contact the applicable salon or support@gelza.net.
Opting out of SMS does not automatically cancel an appointment.
SMS privacy
Mobile phone information, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own promotional or marketing purposes.
Information may be provided to Telnyx, telecommunications carriers, network providers, and other providers only as reasonably necessary to deliver, support, secure, or manage requested messaging services.
